To fund its many programs and services, Saint Barnabas Burn Foundation
turns to other foundations, businesses, industry and friends in the
community. Continuing support comes from firefighters throughout New
Jersey, fund-raising campaigns, an annual awards dinner, and the highly
successful Aluminum Cans for Burned Children (ACBC) recycling program. The
Burn Foundation is registered by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
as a 501 (c) 3 organization, making all donations tax exempt to the
extent permitted by law.
– All business and
civic groups are invited to collect recyclable
cans for the Aluminum Cans for Burned Children program. Over the
years, this fundraising activity has provided invaluable financial
support to the Burn Foundation. To
find out how to turn your aluminum cans into a donation, call (973)
322-4344 or click here to find an
established drop-off location nearest you.
This simple, yet highly
visible fundraising program is a coin drive organized
and executed by local firefighters in their own communities. Firefighters
are stationed at key locations in the community to raise awareness about
the importance of burn care and collect donations.
– At
this annual awards event hosted by Saint Barnabas Burn Foundation, New
Jersey firefighters are honored for their heroic endeavors in and out
of the line of duty.
– The Burn Foundation benefits from the
generosity of many organizations throughout the State that
organize and host a variety of social and sporting events including:
golf outings; 5K runs; holiday displays; New Jersey
Firefighters Annual Ski Race.
If your group would like information about sponsoring an event for
